The Schuberth SP1 Hybrid is a high-performance motorsport and karting helmet offering an innovative blend of pre-preg carbon fiber and fiberglass. The helmet is directly derived from the professional SP1 Carbon Evo line. Thanks to the hybrid shell construction, this helmet combines renowned Schuberth safety and aerodynamics with a more accessible price range than the full carbon models.

  Shell material: A specially developed composite structure of carbon fiber and fiberglass, hand-laid and autoclaved.
  Homologations (Certifications): Quadruple certified according to the latest and strictest standards:

1. 1. FIA 8859-2024 & FIA 8878-2024 (Motorsport / Prototypes / GT / Karting from age 15).
   2. SNELL SA2025 & SNELL K2025.

• Weight: Very well balanced depending on the shell size:

1. 1. Small shell (XS to L): 1480 grams (± 30g).
   2. Large shell (L+ to XXL): 1590 grams (± 30g).

• SDL (Schuberth Dual Locking) System: An advanced visor system with a two-step lock. This allows the visor to be set slightly open for extra ventilation without compromising structural safety.
• Ventilation: Equipped with 12 built-in ventilation channels in the EPS inner shell for optimal airflow. This can optionally be expanded with top and side kits for external cooling systems. At a speed of 100 km/h, up to 14 liters of fresh air flow through the helmet per second.
• Visor: Supplied as standard with a 3 mm thick injection-molded 3D visor including a Pinlock® 120 anti-fog lens and mounted tear-off buttons. There are 12 different colored and mirrored replacement visors available.
• Color : Glossy Anthracite Grey 

Comfort & Modularity:

• Inner lining: Flame-retardant, black Nomex® inner lining that ensures maximum fit and heat protection.
• Communication & Hydration: The cheek pads feature special cable channels and cutouts, making it very easy to install radio systems (such as IMSA or Stilo plugs) and hydration tubes afterwards. These are not included pre-installed as standard.
• FHR / HANS: The helmet is M6-ready, which means that the mounting points for HANS (Frontal Head Restraint) clips are already present in the shell.
