Hybrid shell: The helmet utilizes an innovative combination of handcrafted, pre-preg carbon fiber and high-quality fiberglass. This guarantees excellent strength and maximum safety at a very low weight.
SNELL CMR 2016 Certification: The helmet fully complies with the strict SNELL FIA CMR 2016 homologation, the mandatory safety standard for young competitive drivers in karting.
F1 Technology & Visor
Schuberth Dual Locking (SDL) System: Directly adopted from Formula 1. This is a two-step visor locking system that ensures a symmetrical, extremely secure closure and fast, smooth operation. 3D Injected Visor: The thick, optically pure visor minimizes visual distortion. It is also prepared for a Pinlock anti-fog lens to prevent fogging.
Wide compatibility: A wide range of official Schuberth SK1 accessories is available, including various colors of mirrored visors, spoilers, and ventilation attachments.
Comfort & Ventilation
Advanced ventilation: The inner shell features aerodynamic air channels in the EPS that ensure a constant supply of cool air and efficient removal of warm, humid air.
Weight: Thanks to the hybrid composite construction, the helmet weighs from just 1,190 grams (including visor), which significantly reduces neck fatigue during long stints.
