RR Active noise filter 23MM

The filter panel used for the ACTIVE intake silencer is made of polyester and can be cleaned with solvents, petrol and compressed air.
The filtering of particles larger than 10µm (10 thousandths of a millimetre) has been assessed as the best compromise between the passage of air and its cleaning.
The 10µm value allows the filtering of the impurities produced by the front brakes, usually ranging in size between 15 and 30µm, notoriously very aggressive with the internal organs of the engine.
The new lamellar barrier, located in the lower part of the filter, has been inserted to modify the air flow and reduce turbulence in the intake chamber.
The intake trumpets are also new, with an improved and more performing venturi section.
