The Schuberth SK1 Carbon Evo is the absolute top class among premium children's karting helmets, handcrafted using the exact same production techniques as Schuberth's iconic Formula 1 helmets. The helmet has been specifically developed for young drivers and meets the strict SNELL FIA CMR 2016 safety standard.

Key Features & Innovations

• Full Carbon Shell: Handcrafted and autoclave-cured for the ultimate balance between maximum impact protection and extremely low weight.
• SDL (Schuberth Dual Locking) System: A completely new, two-step visor locking system. Position 1 allows a minimal amount of fresh air to pass through while the visor remains locked; Position 2 ensures a hermetic seal against water and particles.
• F1 Visor Technology: Equipped with an optically pure, 3D-injected visor (3.1 mm thick) that prevents distortion and comes standard with a Pinlock® 120 anti-fog lens and tear-off buttons.
  Superior Ventilation: Features an aerodynamically optimized ventilation system with 12 to 16 channels. At a speed of 100 km/h, no less than 14 liters of fresh air flow through the helmet per second.
• Lycra Interior: Specially designed, comfortable inner lining that fits perfectly to the head of emerging talents.

The helmet is divided into two shell sizes to keep weight as low as possible and minimize neck fatigue:

• Small shell: Sizes XXS (52-53), XS (54-55) and S (56) | Weight: approx. 1,090 grams.
• Large Scale: Sizes M (57), L (58-59) and L+ (59+) | Weight: approx. 1,190 grams.
• Finish: Supplied as standard in a stylish matte carbon finish.
  Homologation: SNELL FIA CMR 2016 (mandatory for official national and international kart races up to age 15).
